What does the Board of Directors do?
The primary function of the Board of Directors is to manage the TFN Economic Development Corporation. The Board is responsible for developing a Strategic Plan, and approving annual business plans and budgets consistent with the Strategic Plan. The Board also approves new business ventures, contracts and major financial transactions, all subject to the approval of TFN Executive Council.
The Board also has a mandate to regularly report to, and communicate with, TFN Executive Council and Members, thereby keeping them informed of the Corporation’s activities.

The Board is currently comprised of the following six Directors, appointed by TFN Executive Council:
